Hi, I’m Heidi — and I’m here to help you reconnect with your natural rhythm and rediscover a sense of peace within.
I know what it’s like to feel constantly overwhelmed. For much of my life, I felt stress — a racing mind, a tense body, and a quiet but persistent belief that I needed to be better, do more, or try harder.
It became such a part of who I was that I didn’t realize it wasn’t normal — until I started getting migraines in my early twenties. That was my wake-up call.
At first, I turned to the usual Western medicine paths. But muscle relaxers only masked the symptoms — and came with side effects I didn’t want. I wanted to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms — and I knew I didn’t want to rely on medication for the rest of my life.
That search for deeper healing led me to acupuncture, which made a profound difference. My acupuncturist then encouraged me to try yoga. And yoga led me to Ayurveda (India’s ancient science for health) which led me to Jyotish (Vedic Astrology).
What I Learned
Through studying these ancient and subtly powerful traditions, I learned how to heal myself naturally.
I no longer rely on Western medications or even weekly acupuncture visits. Ayurveda showed me how to support myself through daily routines and nourishing food in a way that honors my body type and brings balance to my current state — all while fitting into a modern Western lifestyle.
I also discovered how deeply impactful small, consistent shifts can be.
And Jyotish helped me understand the bigger picture — the karmic cycles and patterns influencing my inner world. There’s something oddly comforting about realizing that your struggles are part of a larger plan, and that the challenges are here to guide your growth. With increased awareness I was able to tailor Ayurveda concepts and yoga practices to support my mental and physical health during anything life threw at me.
